Journey through Rivers of Barisal, Coastal Bangladesh
Sabyasachi Ghosh Dastidar
Here are a few pictures of a journey from SriRamKathi village to Doihari village of Swarupkathi (island) to Malikanda village of Uzirpur through Sandhya Nodi (river) all in Barisal District.
The journey took almost eight hours through the picturesque countryside, while Bengali kirtan music played through the help of solar-powered battery, and hot lunch served by monk Sunil Sadhu.
