Shriya Lakshmi Enters Book Before Her 7th Birthday

In the 2020-2021 academic year little Shriya (her grannies call her Lakshmi or the Goddess of Prosperity) Ghosh Dastidar, a first grader in Public School 133 of School District 26 of Queens Borough of New York City, became a published girl in 2021 before her 7th birthday, now in 2nd grade, with her award winning picture published in the book, PSART2021: Celebrating the Creating Spirit of NYC Kids, Editor Karen Rosner, published by the New York City Department of Education, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan of New York City. Shriya is the daughter of Shuvo & Sumedha. Shriya received the award for her painting in first grade, in 2020-2021 academic year.
